We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Trailer Mechanic to join our expanding team.
The role of the Mechanic is to carry out all aspects of maintenance, including servicing, inspection, repair, MOT preparation and any other workshop related tasks that could be reasonably expected.
Mechanic Responsibilities
- Servicing and repair of equipment to MOT standard
- A good understanding of Legal Compliance and standards of roadworthiness
- Ensure workshop tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner to the required standard
- Ability to work unsupervised with a high degree of self-motivation
- Completion of inspection documents and job sheets to the required standard

Key Requirements
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or experience repairing & maintaining trailers
- Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks
- Awareness and understanding of health and safety
