Roevin Engineering are currently recruiting for a time served Welder/Fabricator for a grown precision engineering organisation.
You will be able to use all types of machines and equipment for fabrications and must be competent in MIG, TIG, Electric, Aluminimum welding and all types of soldering. A good working knowledge of health and safety and ISO 9001 is also required.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all Company quality parameters and procedures are complied with and that all products manufactured meet the required standards and specifications
• Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner in compliance with the company's H & S Policy and procedures
• Ensure the highest standard of hygiene and housekeeping are maintained in all areas
• Fulfil all the fabrication work required utilising guillotines , bending , forming and saw operations
• Carry out all types of welding on site required to assist operations and the manufacture of fabricated work/assemblies
• Carry out first line maintenance on machines and complete all related documentation as and when required
• Assist the HSE department to carry out repairs and/or improvements of guarding and other modifications
• Ensure with regard to HSE within your area , ensuring 5S standards are adhered too and actions from action trackers are completed
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensure activities are achieved
