My client, a fast paced retailer, is looking for a Training and Development Manager to join their HR function here in the UK.

Working as a key support to the team you will provide training and support to over 30 branches. The role is field based across the North of England with regular visits to the Leeds based office.

A key responsibility will be to design, implement and roll out effective digital and e-learning activities across the Northern region.

You will provide teams with support and specialist advice surrounding product knowledge, customer service and induction for new starters. You will also be responsible for communicating and delivering ad-hoc training as well as having the ability to negotiate with and influence senior managers within the business.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively. An enthusiastic team player both within the North team and the HR Department as a whole, with the ability to work well and remain calm under pressure and maintain discretion at all times. Applicants must have previous experience in an L&D role as well as the ability to manage one direct report.
