We are currently looking for a skilled maintenance engineer for a prestigious packaging manufacturing business based in the Manchester area, paying up to GBP35,000. The business manufactures a market leading product with a growing customer base and is looking to bring someone into their successful engineering team immediately.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the site engineering manager, the maintenance engineer will be responsible for

To carry out company maintenance needs ensuring the machinery, equipment and buildings are efficient, optimising productivity and any work that is carried out is within budget.
*
Carry out preventative planned maintenance and servicing, recording all findings and with minimum impact on productivity.
*
responsibility to resolve all emergency/ad-hoc repairs and make a recommendation to prevent a reoccurrence
*
Responsible for the calibration of equipment in accordance with legislation and maintenance schedule
THE PERSON:
Based at the Manchester site, the ideal maintenance engineer will have the following skills and experience;

Experience in a manufacturing environment
*
Driven personality to progress within a business
*
Preferably electrical bias with some form of qualifications
