Laser Operator & Setter (NIGHTS)
Shift: Night - (Monday to Wednesday 16.30 - 3.00, Thursday 16.30 - 2.00)
Salary: Depending on Experience

The Role
Laser Operatives are key to us to achieve our business plan. As a Laser Setter you will use Trumpf machines ranging up to 4 meters. You will use various thickness of gauge material (0.5mm - 25 mm). You will also conduct regular quality checks such as visual checks or taking measurements, keep your area clean and tidy. It is vital that you can interpret technical drawings, understand material properties and are able to problem solve.
Who we are looking for
Attitude and work ethic are key! This role is demanding so we are looking for hardworking individuals with great attention to detail. You need to be able to follow verbal and written instructions. You should be a flexible team player. You'll have suitable numeracy and literacy skills in order to undertake some quality checks and record these appropriately. Ability to read technical drawing essential. Forklifting licence is required.
Productivity, effectiveness, health and safety and quality are crucial.
We operate a Night shift (Monday to Wednesday 16.30 - 3.00, Thursday 16.30 - 2.00) with the opportunity for overtime as required to maintain production schedules; therefore some degree of flexibility is required
