Penguin Recruitment are pleased to be working with an established and highly regarded planning consultancy in Knutsford, Cheshire, who, following a sustained period of growth and large new instructions are looking to recruit a Senior Planner / Senior Planning Consultant.
The company have been around for over 30 years and has seen its case load and exposure grow significantly, particularly with regard to major residential, retail, leisure, roadside and mixed-use proposals throughout the North West, and beyond. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting in the delivery of planning proposals within this growing case load.
In order to apply you will hold full MRTPI/MRICS membership (exceptional candidates who are in the process of applying for chartered status will also be considered). In addition, experience in promoting or determining planning applications and appeals across a broad range of development sectors would also be welcomed.
This consultancy have a long track record of helping commercial, public sector clients and land owners successfully apply for planning permissions. The company have 3 offices across the UK and are instructed to work on projects of various scales across multiple sectors as listed above (however it's not an exhaustive list!).
Working in a supportive and experienced team will help provide a number of services to the companies clients that include;
-Development appraisals
-Acquisition appraisal
-Planning applications
-Design and Access statements
-Heritage asset statements
-Retail assessments
-Planning appeals
-Contesting enforcement
