Payroll and Pension Manager

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


Basingstoke College of Technology, located in North Hampshire, is a
leading and well respected further education provider. The college

Following a departmental restructure, we wish to recruit an
experienced Payroll and Pensions Manager.

This is a really excellent opportunity for a qualified payroll
professional to take the lead and manage the payroll activities for a
leading FE College. Ideally you will be CIPP qualified with at least
two years payroll experience.

Working as our Payroll and Pensions Manager you will be responsible
for ensuring efficient, accurate and timely processing of the
College's payroll. To be successful in this role you will need to have
excellent payroll and pension knowledge, have strong Excel skills and
be able to work on you own initiative with a solutions orientated

Based at our main campus in Basingstoke, this role sits in the HR team
and reports to the Head of HR; you will have line manager
responsibility for a Payroll Administrator. Previous pension
administration experience is essential, and ideally you will be
familiar with the Local Government Pension Scheme and Teachers Pension
Scheme. We employ approximately 420 staff.
