Role summary

Within this role as a Senior Sales Executive, you will be part of the Financial Services UKIMEA Sales team, focusing on Insurance Sector, dedicated to selling high-end analytical solutions and consultancy services to solve Financial Crime, Cyber Security and Data Exploitation problems.

This role will be new business orientated so will encompass the end to end sales lifecycle including marketing, prospecting and lead generation activities through to leading bids and ultimately closing profitable deals for company. Target customers include significant insurance organisations with a global footprint with particular emphasis on the Life & Pensions segment in the UK and Ireland markets.

What you'll be doing

You will have responsibility for leading opportunities through the deal cycle, and help develop strategies to differentiate our solutions in the market, open new accounts and opportunities and ultimately to drive sales. The Senior Sales Executive will be clearly accountable for certain client relationships; typically working from senior decision maker level to technical level and ensuring that BAE Systems remains well positioned in the account. You will also interact and collaborate within the Financial Services business unit to help create the optimum team and customer solution. Assured leadership will be required, both direct and through influence.

What we're looking for

  • A motivated Senior Sales Leader looking for a new challenge with a track record of career growth and sales success over many years
  • Experience of selling new business in the insurance sector, preferably selling complex analytical software, products and managed services. Experience of the Life and Pensions segment is preferred.
  • Experience of selling Financial Crime or Cyber Security solutions and consultancy services
  • Keen awareness of the value levers that Insurance buyers are driven by in the Financial Crime and Cyber Security arenas
  • Proven track record of winning or delivering profitable, sustainable deals.
  • Experience in leading and motivating teams, and a track record of building and sustaining client relationships.
  • An existing set of client relationships in the UK and Ireland Insurance sector is preferred.
