Your Role

As the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of publicly funded contracts for us.

Specifically, you will monitor, control and maintain the contract process, maximising its efficiency and operational delivery and ensuring the contracts process is aligned with the wider business strategy and purpose.

Your activities will include:

- Developing and maintaining contract management systems and processes
- Ensuring activities are captured, collated and reported to ensure all stakeholders are kept up-to-date
- Keeping abreast of contract management developments and changes in funding
- Supporting the evaluation of opportunities
- Establishing systems and processes that enable funding to be fully drawn down for auditing purposes
- Line managing contracts staff
- Providing reports and staff briefings on contract progress

About You

To be considered as the Contract Manager, you will need:

- Experience of publicly-funded contract management system approaches, the use of management information systems and databases and the dissemination of performance data to internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of running public procurement projects, including the construction of contracts and other legal agreements
- To be a leader with great motivational skills
- Operational and strategic level experience
- Plenty of initiative, team working skills and a professional approach
