Mechanical Maintenance Fitter/Engineer - DAYS (Monday to Friday) - GBP33,000 - GBP35,000

A leading Manufacturer within heavy industry are expanding and currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. Working on an industrial plant, you will be responsible for working in a team and conducting all maintenance tasks associated with Mechanical Engineering,
The right person for this role will be an experienced time-served, mechanical engineer/fitter possessing knowledge and experience of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, gearboxes, shafts and all other associated machinery.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all equipment is serviced and repaired efficiently
- Pre-Planned Maintenance is carried out effectively and downtime reduced
- Fault finding and problem solving on machinery and systems
- Continuous improvement
- Working with gearboxes, conveyors, shafts, bearings
- Welding and fabrication
Essential
- Apprentice trained (Mechanical)
- Experience of working on a heavy plant or similar equipment
- Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyors, Welding
- Experience of working on automated plant and machinery
