Are you a Sous Chef looking for a new and exciting career within a forward thinking entertainment provider?
Our client is based in central Southend on Sea and looking for a Sous Chef who can commit to hours of work that include weekends and late nights.
Your main responsibility will be to support the Head Chef in the management and organisation of the kitchen but you will also be required to undertake the following duties:
- Ensuring that Food & Hygiene and Health & Safety legislation are complied with
- Prepare and produce food to the highest standard and specifications
- Assist the Head Chef in the compilation and costing of menus
- Continually review employee performance and provide direct feedback and coaching
If you are pro-active, can work unsupervised and able to motivate team members this could be the ideal position for you.
Essential skills required include; high level of flexibility, qualification in Food Safety, ability to implement new policies and procedures, organised and methodical.
This is a permanent position, offering an immediate start.
Salary in the region of GBP20k to GBP22k to start
