Job Overview: On behalf of our client we are looking for an
experienced Toolmaker to work within their Press Tool Engineering
Team. EXPIRY 01/09/18
General Summary:
* This role requires a Toolmaker / Tooling Technician who has
previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering
environment and who has strong CNC / mechanical skills with CNC
milling, turning and grinding experience.
* Ideally experience of press toolmaking would be an advantage and
qualifications with a recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent are
essential.
* The days of work are Monday to Friday inclusive and full-time
hours are negotiable.
* The software currently used is Heidenhain controls and knowledge
of this software would be an advantage, however other CNC software
/ machines will be welcomed.
* The role of Toolmaker will involve manufacturing and maintaining
tooling and spares to ensure that production targets are met and
ensuring that quality and safety processes are followed at all
times.
* This is a permanent, full-time vacancy with a good, competitive
salary package depending on experience.
