We're looking for an HR Advisor to join our current HR Team, based in Barton-Upon-Humber.

It's an exciting time to join Wren Kitchens. We currently have 70 showrooms and 4000 employees across the business and we're expanding! This business growth now means that we need to grow our current HR Team.

As a HR advisor with us, you'll take full ownership for all HR related matters within your business area. You'll provide professional, pragmatic and commercially focused HR advice and guidance to line managers. You'll work with the HR team and across business areas, to ensure the provision of a high quality and consistent HR service to the business.

Main responsibilities:

High-volume ER case management, providing clear and concise advice to line managers, including the preparation of case documentation and ensuring procedural timescales are adhered to, for a full breadth of ER related issues, including discipline, grievance, performance, absence and change management
Take full ownership of ill health capability / long term sick procedures within business area
Work closely with line-managers and department heads, within business area to ensure a consistent approach to people management
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across all organisational levels, including senior management, build credibility as a 'specialist' advisor and attend key business updates / management meetings
To support HR Director / HR Manager in reviewing and implementing new HR Policies & Procedures, in line with changes to relevant employment legislation, coach and support line-managers to ensure these are embedded across the business
Work towards continuous improvement within your business area, in terms of HR processes and company practices, identify areas for improvement and submit these as proposals to the HR Director / HR Manager
Collate HR data and produce reports / HR management information for the HR Manager to use in strategically developing the HR function
Support the HR Director / HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects across the business
Maintain an up to date knowledge of Employment Law and developments in HR best practice
Support in coaching and developing the HR administration team
Participate in weekly HR team meetings, understand workload and priorities of other HR advisors and offer support as required
To work flexibly in line with the needs of the business and carry out any other reasonably duties as required - including crossover into other business areas
