Entry Level Project Manager

Location: Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire
Salary: Up to GBP29,000
Contract: Full time, Permanent

The Entry Level Project Manager will primarily assist Project Owners in coordinating and managing projects ensuring we are making a difference to our clients. Reporting to the Director of Consulting, this position is expected to develop as the business demands change therefore the person within this role must have the ability to adapt to changes in their responsibilities.

The Role - (Entry Level Project Manager):

The role will consist of coordinating coaching and training projects. This role will include duties such as:

* Liaise with the client to arrange training workshops

* Liaise with coaches and trainers in the field to make sure they have what they need to deliver the projects

* Amend current training workshops for clients (this includes the use of PowerPoint and Prezi)

* Assist the Project Owner in conducting briefings for training workshops

* Review training reports that are generated by the Project Coordinator (provide feedback when needed)

* Liaise with the client prior to mobilisation, and during the project (this can include planning multiple coaching rotas in advance and communicating this back to each coach and internally for our planning purposes)

* Assist Project Owners in drafting intervention plans or remits (as required)

* Review Trip Reports (this includes providing feedback to coaches on their reports through emails and phone calls until the report is to standard. The report is then sent to the Delivery Manager for final review and then sent out to the client by the Delivery Manager.

* Gather and collate data (numerical and anecdotal) which can then be used in client progress reports (progress updates usually in PowerPoint format).

* Assisting Project Owner/Delivery Manager in presenting Progress Reports back to the client at Steering Meetings/Progress Update Meetings (as required)

* General monitoring of the data tracking systems (this is done using excel spreadsheets)

* Liaise with all coaches to gather additional data/anecdotal feedback which can be used as part of the progress updates

Knowledge and Skills (Essential):

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills

* A proactive individual with a can-do attitude who can deal confidently and appropriately with a wide range of external & internal audiences

* Proficient knowledge and experience with all MS Windows based software including Outlook, Word and Excel

* Good accuracy and attention to detail

* Confidence in working remotely from team members/line manager and therefore working to own initiative

* Ability to adapt - to take on new responsibilities and adjust behaviour to address new needs

Knowledge and Skills (Desirable):

* A Project Management Qualification or relevant experience

* Previous use of Prezi

* Experience working at a consultancy
