Smart Meter Engineer

J2 Recruitment are working exclusively in partnership with a leading Smart Meter Subcontractor in the energy industry. Our clients have a huge presence within the Energy industry and they have built long standing relationships with some excellent energy providers. We are looking for qualified Dual Fuel Engineers with experience of fitting Dual Fuel Meters in various locations across the UK.
Our fast growing client has a fantastic reputation within the industry, career progression is something they can offer for Engineers who join the business with the right work ethics.

The successful candidate will have CCN1, MET1 and MOCOPA as well as full UK driver's license with no more than 6 points.

You will be

• Installing and exchanging gas and electric meters in a variety of premises issued via tablets.
• Complete prescribed testing in line with industry standards and codes of practice
• Collect and deposit electric and gas meters from the designated storage facility
• Complete all relevant associated administrative work
• Other duties may be undertaken as and when required, in particular when new business is gained
• Achieve and exceed work performance targets and adhere to health and safety procedures, industry standards and codes of practice
