Main Duties: (Live in Accommodation availale)

* Promoting the highest levels of service to guests and clients of the hotel when being dealt with by front desk staff, maximising guest satisfaction

* Ensuring all guest comments, including complaints, are dealt with in an effective and speedy manner in order to facilitate good guest relations, optimise guest satisfaction and record outcomes

* Ensuring all control procedures for revenue processing are adhered to at all times

* Managing to company standard and UK legal requirements hotel sales, payment of services, guest registration, data protection and ensure they are complied with at all times

* Maintaining appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of departmental employees

* Maintaining open communication between all departments most notably housekeeping and finance

* Ensure the highest levels of quality when presenting the room service orders, ensuring that temperatures and set up are according to legal requirements and brand standards.

* Ensuring an effective structure of communication is maintained at all times and ensure staff are fully informed of all relevant information pertaining to their role. This includes handovers, memos and arranging and chairing staff meetings

* Ensuring all standards and UK legal requirements in respect of health, safety and contingency procedures are complied with at all times. Further ensuring appropriate training is carried out and that personnel attend in order to conform to legal requirements

* Ensuring front desk, back office, lobby areas are regularly checked for cleanliness and tidiness. Reporting and following up any maintenance issues that require attention

* Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff alike in both properties being overseen during their shift by completing walk arounds and make sure the staff is fully trained in the fire panel specifics. Ad-hoc trainings and assessments may have to be carried out with team members according to the legal requirements.

* To highlight failures on the procedures and bring these to the line manager's attention

Main Responsibilities:

* To represent the hotel senior management during the night

* To promote the vision and statement of the company

* To actively maximize revenue during the night shift by assessing current reservation trends

* To work closely with local night managers to maximize revenue for the hotel group

* Work safely and securely and ensure that other employees are doing the same

* To attend all training sessions and meetings as requested

* To work within a team and help where required within the business

* To ensure your appearance meets the hotel standard at all times, including well maintained and clean clothes/uniform and the highest levels of personal hygiene

* To be fully aware, competent in and follow at all times:

o Hotel facilities and opportunities to promote these to customers
o Hotel and departmental operational standards and procedures
o Short and long term sales and marketing promotions
o Customer service standards
o Company and Hotel performance and conduct guidelines, policies & procedures

* To attend all fire, health & safety training as requested

* To make suggestions to your manager where possible, which you feel will benefit the operation, customer service and/or the success of your department and the hotel

* To report for duty on time and on the days rostered

* To be familiar with and work to the stated standards both as an individual and a member of the hotel team to achieve the hotel mission statement

* To achieve and maintain the highest levels of customer service to both external and internal customers at all times

* Continuously seeks to improve the hotel's efficient operation, and knowledge of own job function.

* To attend seminars / training courses as required.

* To carry out any other ad hoc duties as directed by all management.

* To comply with the company policies regarding the following:

o Fire, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Security
