A new, independent cafe based in Guildford is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team.
Sister to the award-winning Dabbling Duck in Shere, and Speckledy Hen in Shamley Green, the caf?? is independently owned and operated. Having recently opened their doors in April 2018, they have already established a regular clientele.
Situated on the top of Newlands Corner (5 minutes from Guildford) with incredible views over the South Downs, this new caf?? / restaurant is open 7 days a week from 7am until 5pm serving breakfasts, lunches and cakes.
About the role:
They are looking for a Sous Chef to join the team. As in their other outlets, all the food is freshly made daily on the premises from high quality, locally sourced ingredients.
This role will involve all aspects of food preparation and service and the opportunity to get involved in menu creation. All dishes including chutneys, relishes, pates, fishcakes etc are made from scratch and the specials menu changes on a regular basis.
