Our client has created a new position for a Recruitment Officer, your duties will be as such :

* Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business to build a recruitment strategy in line with company objectives

* Managing external relationships across the industry, from recruitment agencies to local event management, i.e school or University events

* Identify, attract and shortlist candidates for recruitment campaigns based on business needs

* Prepare, review and monitor all Job Descriptions across the business and ensuring these are up to date, legally compliant and relevant

* Write, place and update job adverts in line with company procedures and ensure that the sources of advertising are focussed on reducing cost; deciding on the best method for advertising, including local print media, social media, job board adverts, finding innovative ways to attract new talent

* Arrange and conduct first stage telephone or face to face interviews with potential candidates and processing applications accordingly

* Maintaining awareness of legal changes related to recruitment, including with respect to right to work, data protection and diversity

* Ensure best practice recruitment within the industry and identify ways to improve the candidate experience / recruitment process

* Develop a thorough knowledge of current and future recruitment needs within the business, analysing trends and being pro-active with internal changes

* Monitor and respond to all applications

* Conduct right to work checks

* Source, create and maintain a recruitment system to track key recruitment KPI's

* Adhoc project work as and when required

The successful applicant will have a proven track record within in-house recruitment or equivalent with a thorough understanding of the full-recruitment cycle as well as employment law knowledge in relation to recruitment. With excellent verbal and written skills you will have exceptional attention to detail, an organised and flexible approach and the ability work in a pressurised environment with ever changing deadlines and priorities. Please note, due to the nature of the role you will be required to work away one to two days per week at other UK operations.
