A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a temporary Quality Controller to join our client based in Sleaford. The purpose of this role is to provide the expertise to ensure that all raw materials used and finished goods produced are of high quality and to the specification required, so giving the customers full confidence in their products.

Main duties will include but are not restricted to:
* To ensure all materials entering or leaving the site are of an acceptable quality, through visual checking and laboratory testing.
* To undertake in a quick and efficient manner physical quality tests on raw materials and finished goods, as directed by the Quality Control Manager, in accordance with the procedures in place and to record the results of these tests on the correct forms.
* To ensure that the laboratory stocks of disposables, media and other consumables are maintained.
* To bring any product failure to the attention of the Quality Control Manager.
* To print finished goods labels for the factory.
* To book in raw materials on receipt, ensuring all details are recorded and that they are entered onto Millmaster.
* To keep the laboratory in a safe and hygienic condition.
* To ensure all raw materials are delivered in good condition, also finished goods are despatched the same, in suitable vehicles.
* To ensure that Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
* To generate Certificates Of Analysis for finished products.
* To ensure that all products are UFAS, VMD and Trading Standards compliant, using HACCP principles.
Person Specifications
You must have the following skills:
* Good attention to detail
* Strong character
* Computer literate
* Good numeracy skills
* Good written and verbal skills.
