Reporting to the Business Analyst Manager, the Business Analyst will work closely with business teams across the company to understand and document requirements associated with significant business problems and opportunities. There will be a large emphasis on data and reporting for this BA.

This is a hands-on role, working alongside Developers, Testers, Product Owners, Business Intelligence, UX and UI designers. At Jet2 the BA has a part to play in the full software development life-cycle. You will be an adaptable and pro-active self-starter who will use their initiative to solve problems and evolve internal processes, with the ability to motivate and encourage collaboration amongst Project Team members.

You will be heavily involved in helping the business to define their reporting requirements and working these through to delivery. This will require; facilitating meetings and workshops, capturing requirements, interrogating the data to ensure the data is available to meet the requirements and drive the seamless translation of information from non-technical stakeholders to our highly skilled Developers and Reporting Teams.

You will have the freedom to explore the latest methods and tools and will have responsibility for backlog refinement, user story and acceptance criteria creation along with the development of appropriate supporting documentation. You will also be responsible for getting just enough detail, just in time ready, typically working a couple of sprints in advance.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to build and maintain fantastic working relationships with 3rd party suppliers and colleagues at all levels. You may have been a Data Analyst in a previous position and you will also have previous experience of collecting and documenting complex business processes, both 'As is' and 'To be', and have knowledge of Lean, Agile, Scrum iterative development and incremental delivery. It would be advantageous if you were a proven certified (ISEB, BCS, CBAP, CCBA) Business Analyst.

Ideally you should have previous experience of working with a Business Intelligence team in a similar role. Familiarity with the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and Tableau would be beneficial as would experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server for backlog maintenance and sprint delivery.

In return, we offer an excellent salary and benefits package with fantastic opportunities for progression in a growing business.

This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting forward thinking business. We operate scheduled leisure flights to holiday destinations in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands and to European Leisure Cities from our 9 UK bases.
