EPC Integration Architect - EPC/Oil & Gas

Alexander Ash are working with a consulting firm who are onsite with a large oil & gas firm who are seeking an EPC Integration Architect who has experience of capital projects and integration architecture. Someone who has led the Architectural design for digital ecosystem and collated issues, challenges and provided potential solutions.

You will be developing potential high level solution and architecture for discussion and develop a forward plan and next steps with the Architectural group. You will be working with selected EPCs to understand and assess information management and sharing requirements to deliver major capital projects, and define an outline solution architecture that meets needs of both parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Engage with leadership and technical/IT authorities.
• Create/Manage architecture overview diagrams/plans.
• Outline key information management and sharing requirements.
• Engage with EPC CIOs and technical/IT authorities; summaries outcomes of discussions.
• Manage third-party relationships involved in end-to-end integration.
• Assess digital ecosystem and collate issues, challenges and potential solutions.
• Assess and understand digital ecosystem to collate issues, challenges and potential solutions.
• Develop forward plan and next steps.

Must haves:

• Oil & Gas Capital Project.
• EPC solution Architecture.
• EPC engineering systems.
• Data Management & Standards.
• Stakeholder Management.
• Understanding of capital projects and functional opportunities

Experience required:

• Strong experience in architecture domain, enterprise integration, security and Middleware.
• Expertise in O&G Capital Project, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & construction) Solution Architecture.
• Experience in EPC company processes, SAP, Good understanding of engineering controls, engineering systems is required.
• Understanding of capital projects and functional opportunities.
• Experience and exposure in translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Understanding of Data Management and Standards.
• Experienced in development of technical specification documentations, architectural overviews.
• Oversee technical teams in the design, build, test & operation of integration solutions.
• Experienced to deliver in a high demanding agile environment with teams in different geographical time zones.
• Structured approach to solution & architecture design.
• Ability to work with customer stakeholders across the hierarchy.
• Able to work with co-located and remotely located teams ie be able to work with teams across geographies/timelines.
