Join the GEA 2018 Apprentice Scheme

We are delighted to announce that we are recruiting 3 Engineering Apprentices to join our Pharmaceutical Workshop based in Eastleigh. Apprenticeships are available in the field of an Electrical fitter, a Mechanical fitter and a fabricator/welder.

On the 4 years' apprenticeship, you will study all three disciplines for year 1 followed by the next 3 years where you will work and study in your chosen Apprenticeship course. You'll spend 4 days a week learning the job with an allocated mentor to offer help and guidance and attend college 1 day a week which is subsided by the company.

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, willing to learn, punctual and a team player.

Your working hours will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm. Please note that when the college releases their course this may be subject to change. You will receive 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and other benefits.

PURPOSE

The operative will manufacture to GEA specifications, drawings, shop orders and activities to achieve the delivery, cost and quality requirements and targets of the business.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Health and Safety

* To be familiar with, and act in accordance with, the Company health and safety rules, regulations and policies

Quality Management

* To ensure that you are familiar with, and act in accordance with, the Company quality system rules, regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

* GCSE Mathematics, English, ICT, grade C or above would be an advantage

* Other equivalent qualifications may also be considered
