Reigate * To support the development of partnerships in line with the AIG Life plan and assist in defining the strategy for partners, aggregators and D2C * To identify, target, win and implement profitable new corporate partnerships * To be a part of and contribute towards the Partnership Leadership Team * To lead commercial and operational activities for the Partnership Channel including bid management, deal approvals, implementation programmes, contractual negotiations, risk management and operational support for partners, * To support delivery of the partnership plan * Identify target organisations and develop effective relationships to maximise the new business opportunity * Manage the business development governance framework * Overall responsibility for maintaining the partnership tender library ensuring all content is Compliant and up-to-date * Work across AIG Life functions to deliver partner business requirements * Develop and lead a focused approach on bid pipeline and management of tenders * Work with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate risk management and governance structures are adhered to for the partnerships channel * Work across the wider AIG group to identify and develop common new business opportunities, synergies and working practises * Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of Company procedures and requirements. * Ensure compliance with audit recommendations and guidelines established * Work as part of the Partnership Leadership Team to help deliver the plan and develop strategy * Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractual negotiations * Good negotiation skills with customers and with internal stakeholders * A self-starter with ability to develop and deliver business plans * To understand and keep up to date with changes in the market place and potential opportunities arising * Deep understanding of partner implementation and propositional project management * Proven decision making ability * Understanding of the business strategy and goals * Strong written and oral communication skills * Effective prioritisation and execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment * Graduate caliber who is numerate and articulate with strong relationship management skills Analytical and problem-solving capabilities Technical Skills and Expertise * A Level passes (English and Maths would be an advantage) - degree level preferable * Five plus years of experience of financial services, in particular life protection. * Proven sales ability with a demonstrable track record * IT literate * Change management experience * Excellent analytical and quantitative skills * Team Player * Willing to work away from home if needed
