Are you an experienced Assistant Tax Manager looking for your next contract in Edinburgh?
ASA has a unique opportunity for a Assistant Tax Manager to work within a large public sector''s VAT team on an initial 12 month contract.
Responsibilities:
* Review the way CIS operates within the organisation
* Consider the content of the HMRC review
* Prepare a strategy for ensuring compliance with HMRC
* Provide a training course for staff within the organisation working in conjunction with the VAT team and HMRC
* Ensure that the procedures for staff taking the process forward are HMRC compliant
* Reconcile the relevant account on Finance system
* Work within the team on other VAT related issues such as Making Tax Digital
Requirements:
?? Good working knowledge of UK VAT
?? Good working knowledge of Construction Industry Tax
?? Ability to pass on the knowledge of CIS in a user friendly manner
?? Ideally you will have working knowledge of Oracle E Business
?? A Basic Disclosure certificate
