Are you a caring and compassionate person who would like the opportunity to work for the NHS? Previous experience is not essential, just a genuine passion to provide the best possible care for our patients.
This is an exciting pioneering role for Carers seeking opportunities for professional development in Health & Social care. We want you to be part of a new and innovative team that helps shape the future of our services for the local community; making it a sustainable and forward thinking service to support people to stay well in their own homes. You will work closely with a supportive multi- disciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patients in our care.
This role involves providing domiciliary care for a wide variety of patients, offering a short term service whilst a longer term package of care is being secured. Patients will be supported in their home environment to prevent avoidable hospital admissions, facilitate earlier hospital discharges as well as in-reaching to the wards. North Dorset is an exciting, vibrant and rewarding place to work where we all are focused on providing the highest standards of patient care and experience.
We are committed to providing excellent standards of care to our patients and we know that to enable us to do this, the continuous professional development of staff in a supportive environment has to be a top priority for us, and it is!
In exchange for your enthusiasm and commitment, you will be provided with a comprehensive introduction into care with training and ongoing support to give you the skills you’ll need to be flexible in your approach and confident to work alone. This new role forms part of a dedicated career pathway requiring the undertaking of The Care Certificate and additional appropriate clinical training.
