NFER is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Administration Manager - Research to join the team based in Slough. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,925 -£39,308 per annum; the level of appointment and associated salary will depend upon qualifications and experience.

About the Administration Manager - Research role:
Alongside the day-to-day office management and PA support, you will be a senior representative of the Research Department and be the main point of contact for administration and project coordination, liaising between the research department and others across the Foundation.
As our Administration Manager - Research, you will lead a team of 10 made up of a deputy, team leaders, administrators and project coordinators (one based in York and one in Wales) who support with providing information, administration and project coordination for bids, proposals, reports and results dissemination.
You will have overall responsibility for ensuring work is delivered to a high standard, projects run smoothly and the department follows all policies and procedures including those related to GDPR and data security.
With experience of managing an office either as an office manager or administration manager or as a PA it goes without saying you will have exceptional written and oral communication skills, advanced word processing and IT skills and your attention to detail will be second to none.
As our Administration Manager - Research you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of managing a team and ensuring they meet standards and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to act with tact and diplomacy
- Good organisational and time management skills and can work under pressure to tight deadlines producing work to high standards of accuracy
Although not essential, we would be keen to see experience of project management, knowledge of ISO27001 and/or GDPR, and any understanding of research methodology you may have.
