British Ceramic Tile is the nation’s largest manufacturer of high quality ceramic tiles. As part of our continuing growth, we are now seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in Newton Abbot for an initial fixed term contract of six months with a view to the role becoming permanent.

Your Role
 
As a Finance Assistant, you will join our busy finance office and take ownership of a number of accounting processes to support our financial health.
 
Specifically, you will:
 
- Cost out manufactured products including raw material and overheads
- Help to set up products for the New Product Development process
- Process stock counts on a monthly basis and investigate variances
- Create weekly stock reports to be distributed across the business
 
About You
 
To be considered as a Finance Assistant, you will need:
 
- Costing experience
- A team player mentality
- Analytical abilities
- The confidence to ask questions and gather information
- A deadline focused approach
 
An AAT or similar qualification would be beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential.
