We are seeking one or more individuals to support our profoundly deaf son with additional needs to travel to and from West Kent College and to develop his independence skills.

Approximately 15 hours a week, term time, split between morning (1.5hrs) and afternoon (1.5hrs). Additional hours available during term times and holidays to support him to access the community and to take part in leisure activities.

Desirable Attributes/Skills:

• Interest in supporting a deaf young adult,
• a willingness to learn some sign language;
• reliability,
• punctuality,
• flexibility,
• patience,
• a good sense of humour.

£9.50/hr (plus mileage/reasonable expenses).
