Through an expansion of our provision, opportunities have arisen for Sessional Lecturers across our Art, Design, Fashion, Photography and Digital courses.

As Sessional Lecturer in Art & Design, you will teach a group or groups of full or part time students; developing and implementing student assessment strategies in accordance with College policies and the requirements of awarding bodies. You will also be required to complete the administrative work connected with teaching in an efficient and effective manner which includes; the preparation of classwork, marking of coursework, assessment of students, setting and marketing relevant examination papers, progress reports, regular completion of registers and other termly or annual statistics as required.

We’re looking for creative and imaginative individuals who have energy, enthusiasm and passion for Art & Design and education. Hardworking and flexible, you will hold a Degree or relevant professional qualification in an appropriate subject and have the ability to support, motivate and empathise with learners, including monitoring their progress. With excellent teaching skills, you will be able to use new technologies to enhance teaching and learning and have a good understanding of academic quality standards.

This position is based at Kingston College.
