About this Primary Teaching Assistant role
In this Year 5 Teaching Assistant position you will be working specifically within a Year 5 class, observing and supporting the class teacher and offering academic and pastoral support to EAL pupils. You will also need to be confident to take on 1:1 support and small groups in the core subjects of Reading, Literacy and Numeracy. This class is extremely diverse in ability levels and has a couple of children that are known to be disruptive therefor please only apply if you consider yourself to be resilient and have bags of confidence.
