Project Officer - Social Housing
Location: Edinburgh
Permanent vacancy - GBP27,000 to GBP30,000 per annum plus holiday + pension
Our client, an Edinburgh based Housing Association, is looking for an experienced Maintenance / Project Officer to assist in the effective delivery of annual Planned and Cyclical maintenance programmes.
Main Duties:
• Monitoring contractors/KPIs on site ensuring works meet contractual obligations
• Prepare regular contract/supplier performance reports using Excel
• Manage on-site Health and Safety and keep up-to-date with H&S regulation.
• Work with the Contracts Manager monitoring of budget expenditure and process of payments
• Resolution to tenant issues or disputes
Essential Requirements:
Posses or be working towards a minimum of HND level qualification in Property/Building
Must have worked in Social Housing previously
Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages
Ability to prepare work specification / cost analysis
Construction related Health & Safety awareness
Trade and technical background would be advantageous
Experience in assisting with preparation of operational budgets
