Rapidstart Recruitment are now recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work within our client in Middlewich This is a temporary on-going assignment working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am to 3pm (traffic dependant).
Previous experience on refuse vehicles is advantageous, however full training will be provided and a full Health and Safety induction will take place before you start (paid).
Daily Duties:
-Driving a Class 2 refuse and recycling vehicle on a set route
-Carrying up to 3 colleagues who will be lifting the waste into the vehicle
-Stop and restart the vehicle once a collection has been made
-Unload the vehicle at one of many recycling points and then return the vehicle to the yard
-Carry out various Health and Safety checks on the vehicle and comply with all legal regulations
-Follow all road safety rules and adhere to the Highway Code at all times
Candidates Must:
-Hold a current Class 2 driving Licence and up to date CPC
-Have experience in driving a Class 2 vehicle
-Be able to work from 7am
-Be able to start ASAP
Due to insurance restrictions we cannot accept applications from drivers with more than 6 points on their licence.
Hours: Mon-Fri 7am-3pm (approx. finish time).
Pay rates for LTD Company/Umbrella are GBP11.50 to GBP15.50 per hour
