**Complex Needs Teacher.
**Working with learners aged 9-13.
**Permanent contract.
**Centre for Excellence in Autism, Epilepsy, Speech & Language.
**Located Essex/Hertfordshire border.
Our Client
Our client is a Centre for Excellence catering for learners aged from 5-25 who suffer from MLD/SLD/PMLD/ADHD/ASC and other associated complex needs.
About the Job
SEN Teacher required for a permanent contract. The position will be on a term by term basis to work with students with complex medical needs. The students will have varying academic and social needs and will be from Year 5 to Year 10.
Requirements
They are looking to appoint an SEN Teacher to join them ASAP. You will be working with learners from Year 5 to Year 10 who have various SEN requirements.
The centre welcomes applications from those candidates who have a real empathy of working with Learners with complex needs and have a high ambition to really make a difference to these young people's lives.
Previous experience of working with student's complex needs is desirable. Empathy and understanding are key to making a difference in this centre.
Any additional training in the following areas are welcome:
• PECS
• Makaton
• Epi Pen Trained
• Epilepsy training
