THE COMPANY:
Our client is a global IT business solutions organisation, providing a custom consultancy service to their clients. They are currently recruiting for an ambitious and driven sales professional to support with business development. This person will report into the Global Marketing Manager and support in the advancement in the organisation across international regions.

- Generate interest from potential new clients via strategic activity in targeted markets
- Cold calling organisations to establish point of contact, decision makers and potential business opportunities
- Manage the initial information flow by communicating with prospects to nurture interest and move leads through to the sales cycle
- Optimise marketing activities such as events, webinars and direct response activities through comprehensive campaign follow up
- Overcome objections and problem solve to identify client needs
- Input, manage and cleanse contact data continuously to maintain an up to date and relevant sales database
- Manage the lead process ensuring all expressions of interest, enquires and leads are logged on the relevant contact management systems
- Conduct thorough project qualification including budgets, timelines, key decision makers and the decision-making process for all incoming enquiries
- Report on the effectiveness of all calling campaigns
- Manage and collate the 'lead' information for reporting purposes on a monthly and quarterly basis

THE PERSON:

- Ambitious, driven and a motivated to succeed
- Experience in a telephone sales environment would be advantageous
- Resilient and able to handle rejection, persistence and ability to overcome objections
- Ability to build rapport and communicate with individuals in positions of seniority
- Must be commercially astute and comfortable communicating with C-Level Executives
- Knowledge of the legal and professional services sector is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational and time management skills are critical
- Must be a self-directed and self-motivated individual
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
