£21,752 per annum
We are recruiting a Support Worker to work in our residential accommodation projects for Older Looked After Children (OLAC) and Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) young people aged 16 to 21.
The role includes delivering one to one sessions and groups work sessions to assist residents to develop personally and socially in order that they grow in confidence and move towards independence.
You will carry a case load of young people and to engage them in effective support planning, working towards tailored goals so they can work towards positive outcomes.

You will need substantial experience of working within a supported housing or residential housing project, and experience of working with vulnerable clients with complex needs. You must be able to de-escalate volatile situations and to manage challenging behaviour appropriately.
You should have the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower young people; and will be required to juggle tasks to ensure the safe running of the project and safeguarding of residents.
The position involves working on a rota, including some weekends, evenings and early mornings.
