Here at Carshalton College, we are now looking for a pro-active and results focused individual to administer the Facilities and IT Helpdesk that provides a fault logging service to staff and students across South Thames College Group.

Dealing with face to face contacts, telephone enquiries and email requests, you will administer the Helpdesk logging system to allocate and prioritise job requests; providing an effective Helpdesk that delivers a high level of customer service to users. You will obtain quotations for building services and supplies from external contractors and suppliers, process purchase orders and provide an administrative, clerical, word processing and spreadsheet support service.

This role requires an individual who has proven administration and helpdesk experience and who is confident communicating with a wide range of people. With accuracy and attention to detail, you will be able to produce and analyse data and make appropriate recommendations whilst establishing credibility with managers and gaining a good understanding of the business need. We’d also like you to have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, be an excellent problem solver and be able to work well as part of a team.
