Our client is looking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Technician with Electrical bias to work as part of a team attending to breakdowns and carrying out planned preventative maintenance. You will be working on various production equipment including CNC equipment, saws, drilling machines and general wood working equipment including extraction systems.
Other duties will include carrying out improvements to machinery to increase efficiency, carrying out PPM, maintaining site services and getting involved in project work / improvements as required.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of PLC systems, as well as knowledge of welding techniques and pneumatic systems.
In addition the successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:
- Time served indentured apprenticeship
- National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (ONC)
- 17th Edition BS 7671
- Understanding of CNC equipment
- Logical and methodical approach to fault finding
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Must be able to work on own initiative
