Are you a qualified or experienced sports coach? Are you a graduate in Sport? Are you interested in a future in teaching? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then the following role may be ideal for you.
A multi academy trust in the Teesside area is currently recruiting for a team of sports coaches to work across several of their sites. The trust provides education to pupils who are currently not accessing mainstream schools. The aim of the trust is to provide a high quality teaching and learning experience to all pupils. The programme of study is personalised to each learner's individual needs.
If successful in your application you will support the delivery of PE lessons and tailored teaching activities to pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will work alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help raise attainment levels of challenging pupils throughout the Teesside area. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with a sports background who is hoping for a future in teaching.
This role offers:
* First hand experience in SEND schools and PRU settings
* A dedicated consultant to offer support throughout the placement
* Opportunity to access Empowering Learning professional development training
