A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support the EMEA region for 6-9 months to cover maternity. Primary role is to ensure all invoices are correctly authorised and suppliers are promptly paid. To ensure that staff expense are paid on a monthly basis.

The Role:

Post all purchase invoices to Great Plains for various EMEA countries
Assist with payment of supplier invoices on a monthly basis or as necessary
Assist with processing staff expenses ensuring all relevant documentation is provided and payments are processed in line with expense timetables
Process sundry payments as required
Assist with processing all invoices for month end and final review of purchase ledger according to month end timetable
Provide intercompany details to relevant global finance personnel and assist in reconciliations
Assist with the preparation purchase ledger related VAT schedules for quarterly VAT returns
Work collaboratively to achieve results and process improvement
Any other general administration and ad hoc reporting

What they are looking for:

Previous experience in a similar role, including experience of accounting for a multi-site international business preferably in the business services sector.
Strong Excel and IT skills.
Be highly organised, enthusiastic and pay attention to details
Be willing to assists in other key areas within the EMEA finance team
Excellent teamwork ability
