Fee Earner - Motor & Casualty. One of the UK's leading providers of legal services and claims solutions to the insurance industry - a successful & long-established firm of solicitors with UK-wide coverage - are looking for a Fee Earner, Legal Executive or Paralegal with Fast Track litigation experience to work in their growing Motor & Casualty Department in Cardiff.

MAIN MOTOR & CASUALTY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Dealing with a case load of fast track litigated files from the start of proceedings to settlement
- Drafting of Court documents / witness statements
- Conducting telephone hearings when required
- Assessing liability
- Entering counter claims / Part 20 claims when in the client's best interests
- Assisting other Fee Earners as and when required
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
- Proven experience of running a case load of fast track files
- Knowledge of relevant case law, legal procedure and its application
- A sound knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Experience of communicating and working with clients and Insurers
- The ability to run an effective diary system
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- The ability to adhere to SLAs
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience with claimant and/or defendant work (both acceptable)
