We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join a well-established, nationwide company who specialise in the manufacture of security doors and ancillary equipment. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Sales Representative to join a company where full product training will be given with a significant hand over period with the current Sales Manager. If you are a Sales Executive with knowledge of steel or communal door industry this would be of great benefit and may allow you to fast track. Working from a home base the Sales Executive will be responsible for personal diary management and will be required to meet up at the company's head office, in North Lincolnshire, quarterly. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, passionate and energetic Sales Executive to make their mark within this growing organisation, working with the current Sales Manager with existing clients and eventually developing new clients.

 

Key Sales Executive Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in the surveying and snagging of projects
  • Assist with installation to help gain maximum product knowledge
  • Produce sales quotations
  • Business development, understanding the market and potential clients
  • Follow up leads from web site, referrals and convert to sales
  • Liaise with clients during the quotation stage, discussing specific door specification requirements and finalise sale
  • Work closely with the company's manufacturing plant in Scotland and HO in North Lincolnshire to ensure commitment to customers are maintained
  • Ensure timely, full and accurate communication with all relevant parties on any factory which impact on delivery dates, commitment to customers, quality etc
  • Ensure deadlines and targets are adhered to and met

 

Personal Specification – Sales Executive:

 

  • Proven sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • Confident and passionate about the company's product
  • Knowledge of steel doors or communal doors an advantage
  • Engineering sales background would be an advantage
