The Whitechapel Centre provides support to people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and/or have support needs. We offer help with building confidence, developing independent living skills and supporting people to address substance misuse or other health and wellbeing issues.

Whitechapel is a delivery partner for Liverpool Waves of Hope.  As part of the Waves of Hope initiative the Community Navigators Service aims to deliver real and lasting change for people with multiple and complex needs who have a plan for moving on but who may need support through the process, particularly where the plan doesn't seem to be working for them.  A key role for staff working on the project will be to identify and break down system barriers in order to ensure service users gain access to the various interventions they need in order to improve their situation.

We are looking for staff who have extensive experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs who are able to deliver positive results for clients, maximising clients' health, well-being and inclusion and opportunities for development and move-on.

Posts are being offered on a fixed term basis for one year in the first instance whilst we seek continuation funding.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced level check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) and involve some element of weekend working.
