This is a very exciting time to be joining Paradigm Housing Group. With 14,000 properties, a turnover of £115m and a substantial development and sales programme of more than 600 homes per annum, we are making the most of our many opportunities in a challenging but rewarding environment.

We have a clear and ambitious view of where we are as an organisation and where we need to get to; providing more homes for people who need them by running an efficient and successful business.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Housing Officer to effectively manage a portfolio of multi tenure properties across Milton Keynes. To be successful in this role you must have strong knowledge of shared ownership, leasehold, temporary housing, assured and assured shorthold tenancies and fixed term tenancies.

Your main day to day responsibilities will include the management of voids and lettings, successions, assignments, mutual exchanges and management moves. Further to this you will work with the estates services and property services team to ensure they are well maintained along with working with residents to ensure satisfaction is high.

Proactive in your approach you will demonstrate your experience of generic housing management including managing a patch, you will also have experience of court representation for various tenancy issues. Working knowledge of current housing legislation and best practice along with effective communication skills are essential.

You will use your initiative for assessing situations, making decisions and concluding enquiries.

Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence is required. This role is based at Paradigms Welwyn offices.

This is a great opportunity to join us at a time when you can have a real and personal impact on the future success of our business.

At Paradigm, we work hard, strive for excellence and in return we offer a great place to work with an attractive range of benefits such as Health Cash Plan, bonus potential, competitive pension options and generous holiday entitlement in addition to 3 days closure at Christmas as well as supporting flexible ways of working. We welcome applications from all sections of the communities we work in.

Shortlisting will be conducted in line with the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification.
