Salary: £34,110 – £37,257

Contract Type: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year – fixed term until 31st July 2019, with the possibility to extend

We are recruiting for a Qualification Development Coordinator to contribute to the achievement of South Devon College’s business growth plan, objectives and targets. You will initiate and respond to opportunities for qualifications development, either standalone or in partnership with other organisations. This role will involve project managing agreed development activities to successfully develop and introduce new qualifications, as well as briefing and training internal and external customer-facing teams ensuring their full understanding. You will act as relationship manager for any nominated external partners, nationally and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have appropriate technical qualifications to enable detailed development of marine related programmes, a level 5 qualification, teacher, assessor and IQA qualifications, and evidence of continued professional and personal development. You will have experience of delivering quality vocational programmes and extensive experience of working in the maritime leisure sector.
