Life as an HGV Driver is clocking up the miles and working hard.
But what do you get in return?
If you’re a licensed HGV Driver or Lorry Driver, maybe it’s time to join a business that gives you more.
How about being part of a profitable and growing waste recycling group?
How about reliable, modern vehicles? Every HGV/lorry in our skip fleet is under two years old.
And on top of a good salary, you’ll have overtime opportunities, job stability, and potential for career progression.
Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years; perhaps it’s time you become part of our journey – at Rabbit Group.
Covering West Sussex and parts of East Sussex, your role as HGV Driver will involve delivering and removing skips or emptying commercial wheelie bins, as part of waste removal contracts.
You’ll be driving, predominantly, but you need to be presentable and professional.
A competent communicator, you need to be organised and able to understand schedules, instructions, journey plans and customer requests.
Reporting to the Transport Manager and part of a fleet of some 30 drivers, your working day will be 6.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Five hours of overtime is available one in every three Saturday mornings (as required).
Outside of work, you’re well placed to reach the south coast, scenic locations, and vibrant cities such as Brighton.
- HGV Licence, Driver Training Card, and a valid tachograph card
- Previous employment as an HGV Driver
- Professional and presentable – keeping your (provided) workwear in good condition
- English language – proficient enough to understand work instructions and schedules
Please apply with an up-to-date CV, which clearly states you have the required driving cards and licence.
