Full Time

Salary: £61,293.00p.a (Plus a car allowance of £6,130.00pa)

Linc-Cymru Housing Association (Linc) is looking to appoint an experienced and innovative professional into this exciting position. Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Services, the Head of Asset Management will continue to develop our proactive maintenance and asset management department.

From its roots in social housing, Linc has expanded into the health and social care sector and now operates three Nursing Homes, seven extra-care schemes (increasing to 10 within the next 12 months), as well as numerous sheltered accommodation sites and approximately 4,500 properties in the general housing needs, intermediate, and market rental sectors across South Wales.

We are looking for a senior level professional with a commitment to continue to build on the success of the past 2 years and further develop our Asset Management Strategy which is in its second year of delivery. The Asset Management Service covers the following areas:

  • Asset Management strategy
  • 30 Year Asset Management plan
  • Planned component renewal programmes
  • Compliance and assurance
  • Health and Safety, across all locations of Linc
  • Void management
  • Cyclical maintenance programmes
  • Property sales
  • Reactive repairs
  • Estate management
  • Procurement and contract management

We are looking for a leader that takes a strategic view of asset management that understands the importance of the customer experience as well as technical expertise. With experience in either the social housing or commercial property sector, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience as a strategic leader, understanding demand and supply, stock condition and sustainability, and funding, financing and value for money.

You will lead a team of experienced senior managers, maintenance officers and office based staff to deliver a customer focused service which not only meets the needs of our internal and external customers, but also adds value to our organisation and wider society in everything that it does.

You will work with your team and colleagues within the Senior Leadership Team collaboratively to transform the way we currently work as we are about to begin our modernisation programme. This is an exciting time for Linc and you will be an important part in supporting the move to digital approaches to working and also supporting cultural change within the team.

With a pipeline of new developments coming into management, along with the management of existing stock, there couldn’t be a better time to join a progressive and forward-thinking organisation that operates with a financial head and a social heart. If you view asset management with broad horizons, understand the local South Wales operating content, and have a passion for delivering plans that align with organisational objectives, then we really would like to hear from you.

The closing date for applications is August 19th, 2018 @ 23:59

Interviews are planned for Monday 3rd & Tuesday 4th September 2018.
