INDUSTRY PLACEMENT COORDINATOR – BS718
Salary: £20,456 - £23,769
Contract Type: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, fixed term until 31st July 2019

We are recruiting for an Industry Placement Coordinator to coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of industry placements in preparation for the launch of T Levels by the College. This will include close working with College staff, students and employers to set up and implement the systems and processes to meet the expectations set out by DfE and ESFA in relation to industry placements and T Levels.
The role will be ‘hands on’ with active engagement with students and employers to ensure planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation of industry placements add value to the student study programme and further develops the links between the College and employers.
The post will play a key role in developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with external and internal stakeholders, particularly integrating industry placements into the existing work based learning opportunities that currently exist, including study programme work experience, apprenticeships and traineeships.
You will have a relevant level 3 qualification, GCSE English and maths at Grade C or above, and either hold, or be willing to work towards, IQA assessor verifier awards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of effective employer engagement, and have experience of securing work experience placements. You will have excellent organisational and IT skills, as well as interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
