WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY - EAST LONDON
One of my highly reputable clients in the Commercial Vehicle industry are currently looking for a qualified HGV Technician / Workshop Supervisor to join their team based in Rainham in East London. This will be working out of 1 site and will involve working as part of a team servicing and maintaining the fleet of vehicles at the workshop. Being a supervisor, you will also be required to manage technicians and ensure workloads are carried out & completed within deadlines.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
-NVQ / C&G Level 3 (or similar recognised apprenticeship)
-Experience working on Heavy Vehicles (HGVs, Buses etc.)
-A minimum of 4 years experience in a supervisory position
-Experience in a Main Commercial Dealer environment
-HGV License (beneficial, not essential)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervise a team of HGV Technician on shift
-Fault Diagnosis & Rectification
-Maintain a thorough and current knowledge of products and attend training courses
-Provide technical support to technician if/when required
-Ability to work under pressure
-Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
-Good verbal communication skills
-Excellent customer care skills
THE ROLE:
Shift: Early & Late shift
Monday - Friday
Rate of pay: GBP38,952 basic + Overtime available
