Electronics Design Engineer - 6 months - Birmingham
My market leading client, based in Birmingham, has an excellent new contract opening for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join them fully on-site. Whilst an initial 6 month contract, extensions are highly likely.
The successful candidate will primarily be involved with designing a small credit card sized circuit board, as well as working with prototypes. Day-to-day duties will involve design of microcontrollers (primarily ARM based), schematics and designing PCBs using Altium, working on low-energy products.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years' experience designing and developing board-level electronic hardware including microcontroller-based systems, digital peripherals, power supplies and analogue circuits.
Experience of implementing battery-based low-power connectivity solutions such as NFC, Bluetooth, ZigBee or Wi-Fi, including antenna design, would be beneficial.
