Health and Safety Compliance Manager
Location: Stevenage/Field Based
Salary: Circa GBP35k + Excellent Benefits
My client are a CCTV and Security Solutions business looking for a Compliance Manager to join them to manage the policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
?? Working alongside their external QSE consultant and liaising with them on a regular basis (this includes their monthly visit to the office and the quarterly QMRMs)
?? Keeping company policies up to date and ensure theyre communicated and followed by employees, H&S policy Quality manual Environmental policy GDPR policy RAMS
?? Communicating all H&S information to employees
?? Working with clients on any H&S or quality queries/issues (will be required to interact with key clients and FM companies)
?? Production of RAMS for service and installation works ensuring they are adhered to by employees
?? Manage and renew all company accreditations (NSI Gold, Safecontractor, Exor, Avetta, Elogbooks and Human Focus)
?? Liaising with NSI regarding audits, follow ups, technical bulletins networking events and applying for the NSI certificates of Conformity for NCP104 compliant installs
?? Become knowledgeable (if not already) on the GDPR legislation to ensure that the business complies
?? Provide all staff with the necessary PPE to complete their work safely, inspecting the PPE regularly
?? Arrange and record the PAT testing for internal and external electrical devices and annual calibration of all test equipment
?? Carrying out regular site audits and spot checks on engineering team
?? Ensure that the company MEWPS and safety equipment is suitable, correct and inspected regularly (MEWPS to have valid Loler certificates)
?? Carry out H&S inductions on new members of the Engineering and Installation team
?? Manage/arrange H&S training, keep the staff training records and matrix up to date
?? Production and presentation of relevant toolbox talks at the quarterly General meetings
?? Attend and/or investigate any accidents, near misses and RIDDOR events, ensuring details are formally logged and followed with training if necessary, ensuring positive learning for employees
?? Assist line managers with Return To Work interviews, if an employee is off sick for a long period of time
?? Subcontractor management alongside Installation Manager and Technical Manager
?? Supplier vetting alongside Technical Manager and Installation Manager
?? DSE Assessments on all internal staff members
?? Ensure company liability insurances are valid and suitable to the business at all times
?? Setting a personal example
Qualifications and Requirements
?? NEBOSH Diploma
?? Clean driving license
?? Access to a vehicle in a reasonable and presentable condition
